This view shows the kitchen view from the opposite side of the large center island. This island afforded us space to add several items that otherwise would have posed challenges such as a wine fridge, and additional sink, recycle bins, a microwave, a second refrigerator, and ample seating for four – as well as a very large work space.
The removal of the partition that separated a butlers pantry from the kitchen allowed ample space for a working island as well as providing circulation around and away from the critical cooking space of the chef. All essential items are within reach – range, two refrigerators, microwave, trash bins, cooking implements, and a prep sink.
